How to use ThinQa

Follow these four steps to go from an idea to a 3D-printable prototype.

Step 1: Start a New Design Session

From your dashboard, begin by clicking the "Bio-Inspire New Design" button. This initiates a new, dedicated workspace where you will collaborate with the Biomimicry Engineer AI. Each session is a fresh start to tackle a new engineering challenge by exploring nature's solutions.

Step 2: Collaborate with the AI Engineer

Engage in a structured conversation following our 4-phase workflow. The AI will guide you from abstracting your core functional need to researching diverse biological strategies. You can upload scientific papers or images to provide the AI with specific context, helping it to refine its analysis and tailor its suggestions to your project's unique requirements.

Step 3: Generate a Comprehensive Design Report

Once your collaborative session has yielded a promising design path, instruct the AI to "Generate Report". It will synthesize your entire conversation—including the problem scope, biological inspirations, and abstracted principles—into a structured technical document. This report serves as the definitive blueprint for your bio-inspired concept.

Step 4: Submit the Job for Fabrication

With your final report ready, you can "Submit Job to Agent". This action sends the detailed 'Geometrical Description' from your report to a specialized fabrication agent. This agent's task is to interpret the complex biological structures and translate them into manufacturable, 3D-printable prototype files (STL format) that are ready for physical testing and validation.
